The Carbon County Recreation Authority conducted its annual reorganizational meeting on Wednesday and retained attorney George W. Shutack of Lehighton as its chairman.

Other officers are Lewis Ginder, Lehighton, vice chairman, and Dr. Albert H. Vermillion, Summit Hill, treasurer.

Named secretary was Darlene Confer, Jim Thorpe, succeeding Joseph L. Boyle, Jim Thorpe, who resigned several months ago.

The board authorized Doris Neifert, Tamaqua, to operate a refreshments concession stand at the park at an annual rental fee of $400. The Mahoning Valley Ambulance Corps has this contract for the first year of operation but did not wish to renew it this year.
