A woman declared missing from her Effort home on Friday morning has been located.

Ceny Domes de Carvalho, 87, was found conscious and alert. She has been transported to a hospital.

Carvalho had last been seen on Thursday at approximately 10:45 p.m. She was declared missing at 10:30 a.m. on Friday.

Carvalho left her home on Sky High Terrace on foot in an unknown direction. Family members reported hearing Carvalho say that she wanted to go home to Brazil. Carvalho suffers from Alzheimer's/dementia, and takes thyroid and blood pressure medication.

PSP K9, Aviation and NE Search and Rescue assisted with the search effort.
