State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks are investigating a criminal mischief incident whereby someone smashed the rear window of a parked pickup truck in Tremont.

The victim is Bernard Stine, 81, of Tremont.The incident happened between 11 p.m. Dec. 16 and 1 p.m. Dec. 17 in the area behind 103 W. Main St. when someone used a blunt object to smash the window on Stine's 2003 GMC Sonoma. As a result of the glass shattering, the Access Lorado tonneau cover on the vehicle was torn.
