The Tamaqua Blue Raider Wrestling Boosters plan to honor McKayla Wall during the final home match of the season. This Thursday’s match will also be senior recognition night.
Wall was a senior student at Tamaqua Area High School who died suddenly Feb. 2 of a pulmonary embolism. Her brother is a member of the junior varsity wrestling team.
The booster club will be donating half of its raffle proceeds to the McKayla Wall Scholarship Fund.
The junior varsity match starts at 6 p.m., followed by the varsity matches at 7 p.m.
McKayla Wall enjoyed her time with the Tamaqua Raider Marching Band. She worked at Heisler’s and recently started working at Leiby’s. CONTRIBUTED PHOTO
