State police at Hazleton says someone broke into a business where fugitive Shawn Christy was sighted and stole a truck.

At 3 a.m. today police responded to Skitco Iron Works,on 1478 S. Church St., Hazleton, for a report of a burglary.

Someone broke the office front window and entered the building, going into a rear garage. The suspect stole a white 2002 GMC Sierra 2500HD utility body truck with Pennsylvania registration ZJP-4486 and a dark green and white Skitco Iron Works decal on the doors. The truck has a red ladder racks with a blue welding machine in the bed of the truck.

On Sept. 5, police said Christy took money, food and a Beretta shotgun from the business.

A McAdoo native, Christy, 27, is wanted for making threats to harm President Donald Trump and Northampton County District Attorney John Morganelli.

It appears that Christy also used a computer at the business to update his Facebook page when he broke into the business on Sept. 4. A since-deleted post appeared on Christy’s account. Deputy U.S. Marshal Robert Clark told the AP he believes the post was made from inside Skitko.

A screenshot which purported to show the post was reposted on a Facebook group which includes Christy’s parents as administrators.

The warrant was issued in June after Christy allegedly posted on his Facebook that he would “put a bullet in the head” of President Donald Trump and Northampton County District Attorney John Morganelli.

However he was known to law enforcement, particularly the U.S. Marshals, before that.

In June, he promised to use “full lethal force” against any officer who attempts to detain him. A few days later, he missed a court date in the alleged assault of McAdoo Mayor Stephen Holly, and the Schuylkill County District Attorney obtained a bench warrant for his arrest.

This business is in the general area where U.S. marshals have been searching for Christy.

He was seen twice at Skipper Dipper’s in Rush Township.

On Thursday, Christy’s mother Karen said Christy sent her a message; “I think I shattered my knee during a MD (Maryland) getaway, so I’ve been slowed down a bit.”

In August, a vehicle believed to be stolen by Christy in Maryland, was found at Walmart in Hometown.

The store where the vehicle was reportedly found is less than six miles from his hometown of McAdoo.

Christy was previously responsible for stealing a Jeep Cherokee from Kentucky, which was later found in West Virginia. The day after the vehicle was found, Christy was spotted near Cumberland, Maryland.

In the message Thursday night, Christy added, “Don’t trust Allentown, I think Freddy might be Dave’s JTTF replacement. Ask the cops why Uncle Gerry had a loaded Hi-Point mag at his house, but no carbine, and why he’s been hanging out at the local skydiving club. Stay safe, I have a mission to complete.”
