One person was injured Wednesday evening in a crash along Route 443 in Mahoning Township.

The crash occurred at 5:45 p.m. at the intersection with Lowe's driveway. It appears the driver was traveling west on Route 443 and was possibly attempting to make a right  turn into the driveway. The unit struck the concrete island at the intersection. 

The victim was treated at the scene by members of the Mahoning Valley ambulance. Members of the Mahoning Valley fire company assisted the police and closed down the west bound lanes. Mahoning township police are investigating the incident.
