Fire companies from Carbon and Lehigh counties responded to a dwelling fire Saturday afternoon in Parryville. The call came in about 5:30 p.m. for a dwelling fire with an injury in the 400 block of Center Street. Firefighters did find smoke showing when they arrived on scene. Fire companies from Parryville, Bowmanstown, Franklin Township and Slatington responded to the scene.
