A Carbon County teen has been charged with eight criminal counts alleging sexual contact with a young girl.

State police at Lehighton said Lloyd David Moyer III, 18, of Parryville, has been charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, a felony one; two counts each of corruption of minors, indecent exposure, and endangering the welfare of a child, and one count of indecent assault, all misdemeanor ones.Troopers said Moyer is accused of sexually assaulting a 6-year-old girl in Parryville while a 4-year-old girl was present.The assaults allegedly occurred during the period of Nov. 1 and 30, 2010.Moyer was arraigned before District Judge Bruce Appleton, of Palmerton, who set bail at $30,000, 10 percent.Moyer posted the bail and is free pending a preliminary hearing.
