Man faces charges for open lewdness

A Schuylkill County man who has been arrested several times in the past on lewdness charges now faces more charges.

Brant James Stultz, 35, of Girardville has been charged by Nesquehoning Police with exposing himself and masturbating in front of two women on Tuesday.The incident happened in front of 13 W. Catawissa St.Officer Carl R. Breiner has charged Stultz with indecent exposure, open lewdness, and disorderly conduct obscene language/gestures.He was arraigned before District Judge Casimir Kosciolek of Lansford and remains in prison in lieu of $50,000 bail.Court records show Stultz has been arrested three times within the past few years on lewdness charges in Lancaster and York Counties.The affidavit filed by Breiner says the incident happened at 3:10 a.m. while the two women were delivering newspapers.Police said Stultz told them he was back in town to meet a woman who wanted to have sex with him, but then threw him out of her home "and he didn't have time to get his pants on."The two women told police he had been standing behind a parked vehicle, and "then came out from behind the vehicle and was masturbating." They became alarmed and called 911.The affidavit says, "In further interview, Stultz insisted he was naked when he left the home of the woman he was visiting but didn't (masturbate) while going back to the car."Stultz also was given a citation for driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked.
