Schuylkill County court - ARD

Schuylkill County President Judge William E. Baldwin has placed 11 people charged by local police in the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program for 12 months each.

Admission to the program does not involve an admission of guilt, and if they successfully complete the program, their records may be expunged. All were also ordered to pay $350 to offset the cost of the program, and to pay court costs and fees and perform 10 hours of community service.Charles J. Cunningham, 44, Delano: Charged by Minersville police with recklessly endangering another person, restrictions on alcoholic beverages, and driving the wrong way on June 14, 2015.Baldwin also fined Cunningham $25 each for the alcohol and wrong-way driving charges.Miguel A. Calderon, 22, Hazleton: Charged by McAdoo police with possession of marijuana, use/possession of drug paraphernalia, driving without a license, and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle on Oct. 18, 2015.Baldwin also fined Calderon $25 each for the alcohol and wrong-way driving charges.Brandon Hoffman, 19, Oneida: Charged by McAdoo police with possession of drug paraphernalia and restrictions on alcohol on Aug. 28, 2015.Baldwin also fined him $25 each for the alcohol charges.Brenda Fetter, 54, Tamaqua: Charged by Tamaqua police with forgery on Jan. 6, 2016.Brandy D. Lorah, 25, Barnesville: Charged by Rush Township police with theft by unlawful taking-movable property, theft of property lost by mistake, and receiving stolen property on Jan. 28, 2015.Edward J. McAloose, 61, McAdoo: Charged by McAdoo Township police with fraud altering/forging/counterfeiting title, registration, or insurance; operating a vehicle without insurance; driving an unregistered vehicle; and driving without a license on Feb. 15, 2015.The charges of driving without insurance and registration were dropped, and Baldwin fined him $200 on the license charge.Vanessa L. Miller, 28, Tamaqua: Charged by Tamaqua police with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property on Dec. 9, 2015.Kevin Trant,25, Erial, New Jersey: Charged by McAdoo police with intent to possess a controlled substance by a person not registered and use/possession of drug paraphernalia on June 16, 2014.Dianne M. Walck,51, Lansford: Charged by Rush Township police with retail theft on Aug. 21, 2015.Annette M. Williams,30, Aquashicola: Charged by Tamaqua police with passing bad checks on May 1, 2015.Ryan A. Schweitzer,23, Tamaqua: Charged by Rush Township police with possession of a small amount of marijuana, use/possession of drug paraphernalia, scattering rubbish, and defiant trespass on posted land on Aug. 17, 2015.All but the marijuana charge were dropped.
