Rush Township Police have charged a man with strangulation and assault after a domestic incident.

On April 26 at 3:31 p.m., the Rush Township Police Department received a report of a domestic incident. A woman reported that Daniel Keach, 30, of Rush Township had assaulted her and attempted to strangle her during the dispute.

After the incident, Keach was taken into custody at a house located in the 200 block of Lincoln Drive.

Keach was charged with strangulation, simple assault and harassment.

He posted bail and is awaiting a court date.
