The Summit Hill Youth Week activities concluded on Saturday night with a gala dance at the American Legion Post Home with 175 youths attending the affair. The highlight of the evening was the selection of a queen and her court.

Miss Maureen Vaccaro was chosen as queen with Pat O’Donnell, Margie Walker, Peggy Knittle and Sheila Kozuch serving as her attendants.

The queen was presented a bouquet of roses, a pearl necklace and a Speidel bracelet. Her attendants received a bottle of perfume.

Youth Week Mayor Joseph Martino received a number of gifts and then presented program chairman Tom Wehr a tape recorder on behalf of the youth of Summit Hill.
