Fire companies from throughout Carbon, Monroe and Northampton counties are battling a wildfire in Chestnuthill Township.
The fire started in a deep ravine, which is difficult to access.
Fire command stations are set up at Route 115 and Rocky Mountain Road South, as well as Hypsy Gap Road. Planes are being brought in to battle the fire.
According to scanner reports, one firefighter has been injured. An estimated 50 acres have burned so far.
Palmerton and Penn Forest have been brought in from Carbon, as well as Plainfield Township from Northampton.
