The death of a Monroe County man, whose body was found in a wooded area of Jackson Township on Wednesday, has been ruled a homicide.

State police at Fern Ridge said the body of Demetrio Seantallis Hughes, 24, whose last known residence was in Mount Pocono, was found at 12:17 p.m.Troopers released no other details concerning the incident, including how he died. Troopers are asking the public's help. Anyone with information concerning Hughes is asked to call troopers at 570-646-2271. Troopers also noted, in addition to having ties in the Pocono area, Hughes was also known for have ties in the southern part of New Jersey.
