Your child has an earache and it’s a school night.
Immediately you weigh the pros and cons of taking her to the emergency room versus taking time off of work to see her pediatrician in the morning.
With a Lehigh Valley Health Network ExpressCARE location coming to Lehighton, there’s now another option.
An ExpressCARE is not quite your family doctor’s office, yet it’s not an ER.
It offers high-quality medical care for common illnesses and minor injuries at a moment’s notice.
It’s for those times when your child needs a physical right before the start of the school year, or when you get poison ivy over the weekend and want relief before Monday.
ExpressCARE offers walk-in care 365 days a year.
Carbon County’s first ExpressCARE, located at 363 N. First St., Lehighton, will open its doors from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day starting Sept. 3.
Want a sneak peek? Come to the new location’s community open house on Wednesday. It will be open from 5 to 7 p.m. You’ll be able to tour the facility and learn more about its offerings.
Light refreshments and self-guided tours begin at 5 p.m.
