Death of teen in crash during police chase ruled accidental

TANNERSVILLE, Pa. (AP) - The death of an eastern Pennsylvania teenager who lost control of his car during a police chase and crashed has been ruled accidental.

Authorities said 17-year-old Khalil Carrrington of East Stroudsburg was driving a car that went out of control and struck several trees Thursday morning in Pocono Township, Monroe County, when two deer entered the road.The Lehigh County coroner's office said he died that evening at a Bethlehem hospital of multiple blunt force trauma. The death was ruled accidental.Police said an officer found him and a friend sleeping in a car and spotted marijuana and paraphernalia. While the officer was checking the names given by the occupants, the vehicle fled.
