A motorcyclist was injured Sunday afternoon in a crash in Franklin Township. The crash occurred at 3 p.m. along Route 209 at the exit ramp of the turnpike. The motorcycle and a pickup truck came in contact. The biker was treated at the scene by Lehighton paramedics before being transported to an area trauma center. Responding to the scene was the Franklin Township fire company with their fire police maintaining traffic control at the scene. State police at Lehighton are investigating the incident.
