Jim Thorpe resident inducted into Aquinas Society

Maureen Kloap of Jim Thorpe, a student at King’s College, Wilkes-Barre, was one of 42 students to be inducted recently to the Aquinas Society, the college’s honor society that recognizes students of superior academic ability and achievement who are involved in significant service-related extracurricular activities.

A senior physician assistant major with minors in both biology and neuroscience, Maureen is the daughter of Phil and Dolores Kloap. She is a member of the Pre-Physician Assistant Society, Blood Council, Lester Saidman Society and is a dean’s list student.

Membership in the honor society is open to juniors and seniors with a minimum grade-point average (GPA) of 3.4 (4.0 scale) who have attained the dean’s list for at least four of their semesters at King’s.
