The Pleasant Valley School Board has started a search for the next superintendent of schools.

The anticipated timeline has an open application deadline of Jan. 25. The board will then proceed through reviewing applications, background and reference checks and a series of interviews. The board anticipates a potential appointment in the spring of 2017 but will take the time necessary to find the right candidate.

As part of the search process, the board has invited community, staff and student input through a survey that is available on the district website and through the link below.

The Pleasant Valley School District Board of Directors invites the community to participate in a survey related to the superintendent search.

The survey affords school community members the opportunity to provide input regarding the qualifications and experience they believe would be important in a new superintendent. The survey also allows respondents to provide their assessment of challenges, issues and needs in the district.
