A driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following a one-vehicle crash that occurred about 9:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 6, in Carbon County.

State police at Fern Ridge said Joven Stlot, 29, no address given, was driving along Colville Trail near Meckesville Road, in Penn Forest Township, and failed to negotiate a turn. Stlot's vehicle left the road and landed in a ditch.Stlot showed signs of intoxication, troopers said, and failed field sobriety tests. The DUI charge is pending blood test results, troopers added.
