A vehicle stop along Interstate 80 in Kidder Township has led to a Williamsport man entering a guilty plea to a drug delivery charge before Carbon County Judge Joseph J. Matika.
Jamikal Charles Flanders-Coates, 30, pleaded guilty to one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.Dropped in a plea agreement were charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.Flanders-Coates was stopped by state police at Fern Ridge for speeding on Sept. 24, 2015.At the stop troopers conduced a consent search and found cocaine in the vehicle in a quantity that would be used for sale.Flanders-Coates, under sentencing guidelines, faces a jail term.Matika deferred sentencing and ordered the adult probation to prepare a presentence investigation report.
