Carbon County officials approved a number of personnel salary requests during the monthly meeting of the salary board.

Approved motions include:District Attorney• Change the rate of one part-time legal secretary from $10.21 per hour to $10.51 per hour, effective July 22.• Change the rate of one county detective from $16.96 per hour to $15.07 per hour, effective July 7.Sheriff• Change the rate of one special deputy sheriff from $12.42 per hour to $14.35 per hour, effective July 11.• Change the rate of two special deputy sheriffs from $10.72 per hour to $14.35 per hour, effective July 11.• Establish the positions of seven special deputy sheriff trainees at $13.67 per hour, effective July 11. Position excluded from retirement plan.• Abolish the positions of seven special deputy sheriffs at $10.72 per hour, effective July 11.Commissioners' office• Change the rate of one temporary parking attendant from $10.94 per hour to $9.72 per hour, effective July 7.Communications Center• Change the rate of one part-time dispatcher from $11.37 per hour to $11.71 per hour, effective Aug. 3.Corrections• Change the rate of one part-time corrections officer from $11.59 per hour to $11.26 per hour, effective July 7.
