The Carbon County Salary Board approved a number of personnel actions Thursday during its monthly meeting.

Actions include:• Animal shelter: Change the rate of one part-time K-9 officer from $9.83 per hour to $9.54 per hour, effective April 6.• Commissioners' office: Change the rate of one part-time parking attendant from $11.61 per hour to $10.02 per hour, effective April 6.• Communications Center: Change the rate of one addressing coordinator from $15.55 per hour to $19.71 per hour, and change the rate of one part-time dispatcher from $12.07 per hour to $11.72 per hour, both effective April 6.• Parks: Change the rate of one seasonal park maintenance from $10.12 per hour to $9.54 per hour, effective April 6.• Tax Assessment: Establish the position of one solicitor at $5,000 per year, effective April 6.• Tax Claim: Establish the position of one solicitor at $10,000 per year, effective April 6.• Cooperative Extension, AFSCME Union: Establish the position of one clerk at the prevailing rate, effective April 6; and abolish the position of one clerk-stenographer-receptionist at $18.10 per hour, effective May 10.
