At least one person was injured Sunday morning when involved in a crash in Ryan Township.

The accident occurred at 10:30 a.m. at the intersection of Route 54 and City Line Avenue. It appeared the driver of a pickup truck was traveling east on Route 54 and stopped to make a left turn into City Line Avenue when struck from behind. The injured were treated and transported from the scene by members of the Ryan township ambulance.

Members of the Hometown fire police maintained traffic control at the scene.

State police at Frackville are investigating the incident.
