Schuylkill County Court

A Pottsville woman who violated the terms of Schuylkill County’s Drug Treatment Court was terminated from the program and is headed to state prison, in a decision by Schuylkill County Judge Charles Goodman on Nov. 7.

Stephanie M. McEntee

, 41, was sentenced to six to 30 months in state prison. She must pay $436 restitution to Walmart, and a $50 fine. She was arrested June 14, 2016, by Rush Township Police and charged with retail theft.

Two men received county prison terms, in decisions by President Judge William E. Baldwin on Nov. 6.

Devin B. Roth

, 23, Lehighton, was arrested Jan. 3 by Walker Township police and charged with four counts each of possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was sentenced to serve a total of 11 to 23 months in prison followed by one year probation on all counts. He must also pay a fine of $100.

James N. Pester

, 50, Quakake was arrested Jan. 11 by Mahanoy City Police on a charge of firearm not to be carried without a license. He was sentenced to three to 12 months and is eligible for work release.

A Tamaqua man’s probation was revoked in a decision by Judge Charles Miller on Nov. 8.

Steven P. Campbell

, 50, was arrested by Tamaqua Police on Nov. 3, 2018, and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He will be incarcerated in county prison for four to eight months and must pay costs and fines originally imposed.
