Looking for something to do this Easter weekend, but with a stay-at-home order in place, the choices are very limited.
To help families celebrate the Easter season, Sight & Sound Theatre in Lancaster and TBN have teamed up and will be streaming the play “Jesus,” a biblical performance of the life of Jesus Christ. The play will be available in this special worldwide television debut April 10 through 12.
Filmed in front of a live audience, Sight & Sound’s “Jesus” is the action-packed musical stage adventure that takes audiences on a miraculous journey alongside the most famous person ever to walk the earth and the everyday people whose lives he changed forever.
More than 1 million people have experienced the live performance of “Jesus” at Sight & Sound’s theater in Lancaster during its run.
Witness some of the most awe-inspiring, miraculous events in the Gospels as Jesus sets sail with fishermen, challenges the Pharisees, and heals the hurting. Families can watch for free either on the TBN app on various mobile devices, online at www.JesusEvent.com or on Blue Ridge Cable channel 158 at 1 a.m. and 1 p.m. on April 11.
