Tamaqua police have cited a Tuscarora woman after an incident on Dec. 24.
Police received a call at 9:04 a.m. from a resident on Arlington Street. The caller reported that Brianna Worley, 18, of 317 Mulberry St., had entered her home through an unlocked door, then began assaulting her while she was sleeping.Worley had previously sent the victim a text message, threatening to kill her.The victim had been hit in the head several times and had her head banged against a wall. She was feeling "woozy" and said she was going to the hospital for treatment.Worley was charged with burglary, trespassing, harassment, simple assault and making terroristic threats.Another woman, Gabrielle Sadusky, accompanied Worley, but didn't actually participate in the assault. She was charged with conspiracy to commit burglary, trespassing, simple assault and harassment.
