Members of the Lansford Ambulance and Lansford Fire Company held a teen dance for the family of the late Matt Aungst, 15, who passed away suddenly at his home in May. Aungst was a junior firefighter with the Lansford Fire Company. Organizers Robert Stackhouse, Lansford Fire Company, and EMT Jonathan Oakes, Lansford Ambulance, pointed out their appreciation to Carmen Caruso, owner of Cool Lights DJ Service and CCJ's Entertainment, who donated his services, and all the people that came to show their support.
