Fire companies from Carbon and Schuylkill counties are battling a raging wind swept fire in Lansford that destroyed two homes.

The fire was first reported just after 4 a.m. at 522 East Front St.

When fire fighters arrived on scene they found the dwelling fully involved in flames.

Flames quickly spread to 524 East Front St.
