Summit Hill and Lansford police are at Panther Valley High School with Carbon County Emergency Management. Fire police from Lansford and Summit Hill were called to the school to shut down the entrance.

The Carbon County Emergency Management Agency posted on their Facebook page that the lockdown, and eventual dismissal, was because of an undisclosed threat made over the weekend.
