Saylorsburg woman burned in motor home wreck dies

AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) — A Saylorsburg woman has died after she was severely burned when the motor home she was traveling in crashed on Interstate 75.

The Macon Telegraph reports that Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones says 75-year-old Portia Krehely of Saylorsburg, was pronounced dead Sunday afternoon at the Joseph M. Still Burn Center in Augusta.The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release that Portia Krehely’s husband Richard Krehely was driving the recreational vehicle on Friday when he lost control. The vehicle overturned, struck a median and burst into flames. Passers-by had pulled the couple from the wreck.Jones says Richard Krehely was not injured.
