State police at the Frackville barracks were summoned Feb. 3 to investigate a reported attempted breakin at a residence in Kelayres, Kline Township.

Police said Cynthia Mercuri, 13-1/2 Third St., reported she discovered snow outside her bedroom window. She told police the incident happened in the overnight hours, although no entry was made to the residence and nothing was discovered missing from the property.
