State police at Lehighton barracks are investigating the theft of a cellular telephone from a minor.

The incident happened on June 30 between 10 and 1:30 p.m. in the male locker room near the Palmerton Area High School football stadium.Police said the phone was a Blackberry Torch and has a value of $500. Also stolen was a duffle bag. Anyone with information is asked to call State Police at Lehighton barracks at (610) 377-4270.
