2007 Lehighton graduate and former UCONN running back Robbie Frey continued his successful stint at Kutztown University this past weekend rushing for 157 yards and a touchdown.

Frey's big day came against Concord University in the NCAA first round Super Region I Division II playoffs. The Golden Bears pulled out a 17-14 victory and will play New Haven next weekFrey has done a great job running the football for KU this season and with a 1-yard run to end the first quarter, surpassed the 1,000-yard mark for the season.Frey has now racked up 1,139 yards on the ground this season and is averaging 103.5 per game with 11 touchdowns.
