Ex-WWE diva faces 3 DUIs in Carbon

Tamara Lynn Sytch, who went by the stage name "Sunny" and once was one of the top female stars of World Wrestling Entertainment, is facing charges from three separate DUI incidents in Carbon County.

Sytch, 42, who presently has a Palmerton address, is being charged with traffic stops that occurred May 30 at 1:32 a.m. in Mahoning Township, at 9:35 a.m. on June 1 in Towamensing Township, and following a crash on June 20 also in Towamensing.She had been scheduled for a hearing on Wednesday in Lansford for the Mahoning Township charges, during which her blood alcohol count was more than three times the legal limit.She failed to appear for the hearing.As a result, all the charges general impairment, driving under the influence, driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked, and careless driving have been forwarded for trial in Carbon County Court.Arresting officer Tyler Meek of the Mahoning Township Police Department said a bench warrant for her arrest is likely to be issued.The hearing was to have been held before District Judge Casimir T. Kosciolek, who waited about 90 minutes before forwarding the charges to court without her presence.Her arraignment at Carbon County Court is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 3.Meek arrested Sytch on Blakeslee Boulevard Drive East (Route 443) on May 30, after he observed a Dodge being driven in a careless manner near Walmart.Meek said Sytch failed a field sobriety test so a blood sample was drawn, indicating she had a blood alcohol count of 0.253 percent. The legal limit is 0.08 percent.Sytch was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011. The WWE says that in 1996, she was AOL's most downloaded woman. Also in the WWE, she was a two-time "Slammy Award" winner.Fox News reported in May that she is in the process of signing with Vivid Entertainment to make a series of adult films.Meanwhile, Sytch has a hearing scheduled before District Judge William J. Kissner of Palmerton at 9:15 a.m. on Aug. 19 as a result of offenses that occurred in Towamensing on June 20.She has been charged with DUI, driving without a license, failure to stay in her lane of traffic, and careless driving.A motor vehicle violation regarding the crash that involved damage to an unattended vehicle or property is also filed against Sytch.These charges were filed by trooper Shawn M. Noonan of the Lehighton barracks of the state police.Charges are pending the June 1 incident involving Sytch.State police said they stopped Sytch on June 1 in the area of Route 209 in Towamensing for a vehicle code violation. She was found to be under the influence of alcohol and taken to the state police barracks for a breath test.This is not her first incident. In 2012 TMZ reported the Branford Police in Connecticut charged Sytch with for disorderly conduct on Sept. 11 in an incident involving a man who was living in the house where the altercation took place. She was released the next day on $500 bond and was arrested at 4:49 p.m. that day when the former wrestler was cited for disorderly conduct and strangulation for an incident involving the same man. She was also charged with violating a restraining order, according to TMZ.The next day she was released and was charged later that day for violating a restraining order, TMZ reported.
