An employee of a Monroe County business had been charged with stealing from his employer.

State police at Fern Ridge said Philip Sabatine, 22, of Kunkletown, has been charged with stealing an unspecified amount of U.S. currency from the Turkey Hill Market, located at 1243 Interchange Rd., in Gilbert, where allegedly took the money from the cash register.The incident occurred about 1:51 a.m. on Monday, March 4.
