Police find drugs, cash in Polk traffic stop

State Police at Lehighton have charged a Gilbert man with driving under the influence and various drug charges.

John Gary Marsh, 46, was stopped at 10:43 p.m. on June 17 along Mountain View Drive, at the intersection with Gilbert Road, in Polk Township, Monroe County.He showed signs of impairment. He was taken to the county DUI center for a blood test.Troopers also found about 40 grams of suspected methamphetamines, 9.5 grams of marijuana, a digital scale, $3,063 in cash and various packaging materials, all of which were seized. He is charged with manufacture, delivery, or possession with intent tomanufacture or deliver, drug possession, driving while BAC 0.02 or greater with a suspended license, and traffic violations.
