A Monroe County man was jailed for violating a protection from abuse (PFA) order.
Pocono Mountain Regional police were dispatched to a 9-1-1 hangup call at 18 Skyline Way, Mount Pocono, about 9:55 a.m. on April 24. On scene the caller at the residence advised police there was nothing wrong.Upon further investigation police learned that a domestic argument had occurred at the home and that a male party had left the home prior to the arrival of officers and was believed to be in the area.After runing a warrant check it was learned the male in question, identified as Frank Guagenti, 72, of Mount Pocono, had an active PFA order in placed against him which barred him from having contact or being at the residence in question.A search of the area found Guagenti hiding in a shed in the backyard of the residence. He was taken into custody and lodged in the county prison in Snydersville.
