A Schuylkill County driver was arrested in Monroe County following a vehicle stop.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said Brittany Obrzut, 19, of Shenandoah, was stopped about 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, along SR115 in Tunkhannock, for a traffic violation. At the stop Obrzut consented to a vehicle search. As a result police found various drug paraphernalia items in the vehicle along with a small amount of marijuana.Obrzut was taken into custody and transported to police headquarters where she was processed and later released. She will be charged with two drug counts, police said.
