A Schuylkill County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident that occurred about 12:28 a.m. on Tuesday, June 18, along the Gordon Nagle Trail, at the intersection with Woodland Drive, in North Manheim Township.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Devin Smith, 24, of Auburn, was stopped after being observed driving erratically. He showed signs of intoxication and failed field sobriety tests.He was transported to the Schuylkill Medical Center-S. Jackson St., Pottsville, for a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results, troopers said.
