HONESDALE, Pa. (AP) - Federal authorities are investigating a small plane crash near a northeastern Pennsylvania airport, and the coroner's office is telling a TV station at least one person died.
A Federal Aviation Administration spokesman says a Morrissey 2150A aircraft crashed just before 6 p.m. Thursday, about a half-mile from Cherry Ridge Airport in Honesdale.WNEP-TV says (http://bit.ly/2sRR8Pi ) the Wayne County coroner is describing the crash as deadly.The FAA won't confirm the pilot's name or condition, but says just one person was on board.Honesdale is about 100 miles northwest of New York.
