Mr. and Mrs. Joseph A. Boyle of Coaldale recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. They were married on Nov. 17, 1951 in SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church by the late Monsignor Nicholas Terna.

Mrs. Boyle is the former Julia Hutta, daughter of the late Paul and Mary Hutta. Mr. Boyle is the son of the late Donald and Grace Boyle. They are the parents of four children: Joseph of Bethlehem, Thomas of Tamaqua, Susan Lopata of Nesquehoning, and MaryKay Horvath of Summit Hill. They also have 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.The Boyles celebrated their special occasion at a banquet dinner hosted by their four children at Kelly's Irish Pub in Lansford, and attended by their grandchildren and great-grandchildren.An open house followed at the couple's home. Their granddaughter Kimberly and her husband, Chad Felty, also celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary with the Boyles.
