Two acts of criminal mischief are being investigated by state police at Frackville.

Troopers said Kristina Burke, of Branchdale, reported her 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee had two tail lights, a rear bumper cover, and four tires damaged while parked at 574 Valley Road in Cass Township. The incident was reported at 3 a.m. on June 27.Troopers reported the 1979 Ford F150 pickup truck of Nicholas Kurchock, 27, of Pottsville, had several shots fired at it, causing damages while it was parked along West Wade Road, at Old Wade Road, in New Castle Township. The incident occurred about 11:15 p.m. on Saturday, June 29, troopers said.
