A Schuylkill County resident is facing charges after he cashed a check at a county business that had a "stop payment" placed on it.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said David Allen Morgan went to the Economy Gas/Food Mart, located along SR61 in North Manheim Township, and cashed the check. He has been charged with theft by deception and receiving stolen property.
