State police at Lehighton reported on the following citations/arrests made by troopers.

On July 14, about 1 a.m. troopers said a 47-year-old female who resides along Forest Inn Road, in Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County, and Kevin Douglas Tansley, 46, of Palmerton, were involved in a physical altercation. Tansley allegedly struck the female in the face and arm several times causing visible injuries.Tansley was charged with simple assault, terroristic threats, and harassment and was lodged in the county prison in Nesquehoning pending arraignment.On July 12, about 10:45 p.m., troopers responded to the area of Victoria Arms Apartments, in Kunkletown, Polk Township, Monroe County, to a report of a physical and verbal altercation. As the result of an investigation Dijauntay Walker, 21, and Jamel Svendsen, 22, both of Kunkletown, were cited for simple assault, harassment, and public drunkenness. Troopers listed Laura Cappiello, 21, of Effort, as a victim.On July 13 about 3:30 p.m. troopers were called to the Pleasant Valley Elementary School property, in Polk Township.During a soccer tournament four individuals were involved in a verbal altercation, which at some point turned physical.As a result Oren Raz, 43, and Aljo Huseinovic, 49, both from New Jersey, were charged with harassment, and Sharon Raz, 42, and Patricia Huseinovic, 44, also from New Jersey, were charged with disorderly conduct.Troopers said on Sunday, July 21, about 6:50 p.m. Chad Michael Benner, 48, of Palmerton, and Rebecca Ann Urban, 45, of Lehighton, were involved in a verbal argument in the area of 742 Pine St., Bowmanstown, Carbon County, that turned physical.Urban alleged that Benner pushed shut her car door, striking her on the arm. Troopers said Benner will be charged with harassment.Troopers said Matthew Smale, 26, of Palmerton, has been cited for violation of the uniform firearms act. They said he was in Shea's Hardware store, in Palmerton, and provided false information while attempting to purchase a firearm. The incident occurred on March 13, 2012.
