November 19, 1955 — Steve Kusko tosses a pair of touchdown passes to help Nesquehoning post a 12-0 victory over Parkland. The Nesquers, coached by Tony Mezza, can’t get their vaunted ground attack going because of storm that drops two inches of snow. Kusko, however, connects with Pat Donahue for a 45-yard tally to get the winners on the board in the opening quarter. He later finds Tony Malaska for a 30-yard scoring hookup to extend the margin. The win enables Mezza’s squad to end the season with an 8-1-1 record.
