A Lehigh County man is facing charges in Schuylkill County.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Michael Matthews, 34, of Allentown, is facing a harassment count for allegedly putting his hands around the neck of Tara McCabe, 33, of Auburn, and squeezing hard enough to cause an injury. The incident occurred about 1:35 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3, at McCable's residence along Market Street.
