Kresgeville bar cited by Pa. LCE

State police at the Pa. Liquor Controle Enforcement office in Wilkes-Barre have reported a Kresgeville bar/owner has been cited for violating state liquor laws.

Patrick J. McGonagle/American Hotel, P.O. Box 12, Polk Township, is facing two citations as a result of enforcement action taken after a June 18 investigation at the establishment.Police said the business was cited for two violations of the Pa. Liquor Code and Clean Indoor Air Act on the above date, one for permitting smoking in a public place where smoking is prohibited and the other for failure to post sinage as required by the act.The defendant(s) will have to appear before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50-1,000, plus possible license revocation of suspension determinations.
