State police at Lehighton charged Kyle Bartholomew, 28, of Ross Township, Mnoroe County, with simple assault, harassment, and terroristic threats after a verbal altercation became physical.

Bartholomew had a dispute with Marian Fuhr, 23, of Effort. The incident took place at 2:40 a.m. Aug. 18 at 112 Pine Court.
