Tour bus breaks down in Nesquehoning

Traffic was reduced to one lane on Catawissa Street in Nesquehoning after a tour bus became disabled. The incident began just after 9 a.m. when the bus from New Jersey carrying a group for a white water rafting trip missed its turn onto Route 93. The driver entered the borough and attempted to make a left turn into Pine street, a steep hill. In doing so the rear wheels left the ground leaving the unit without traction. A large wrecker from Zenier towing was used to free the bus. Nesquehoning firefighters assisted at the scene.
